Winning campaign concept and art direction for Nothing's Phone (3a) Community Edition set to be released in November 2025.

About

Nothing opened up a bold, open brief inviting its global community to co-create a special edition of the Phone (3a)—the Nothing Community Edition. This one-of-a-kind initiative called for ideas across four categories — Hardware & Packaging, Wallpaper & UI, Accessories and Marketing.

 

Over 600+ submissions poured in from across the world—and I’m incredibly proud to be the selected winner for the Marketing Campaign category.  This was my submission  which I will now be developing in collaboration with Nothing.

Insight

The ‘Made Together’ campaign captures the spirit of Nothing’s Community Edition—collaboration in its truest, messiest form. Inspired by my own experience and that of countless designers, it embraces the chaotic yet magical process of co-creation.

 

In today's digital world, collaboration has shifted—from whiteboards to shared screens, from paper sketches to scattered digital files. It’s messy, unstructured, and often unpredictable—but that’s where the magic happens. The visual language for this campaign reflects this new form of 'Digital Collaboration' with certain key visuals which gives a different look to the brand while still keeping it 'Nothing-esque'—clean, playful, and bold.

 

This campaign celebrates that creative chaos in line with Nothing’s mission: "making tech fun again."

I’ll now be working closely with the other winners and the brilliant team at Nothing to bring this project to life. As the marketing campaign winner, I will be specifically working on branding the campaign, conceptualising Out of Home activations and also planning the launch event.
