Creating an identity and visual language for Tender Care, a hospital exclusively for women and children.

About
Tender Care is the first hospital in Bhopal to provide services exclusively for women and children. The services included here are neonatology, gynaecology, cosmetic surgery, paediatric surgery and much more.
A hospital is not just about treating illnesses but to give a comfortable experience through certain difficulties. The birth of a baby is one of the most memorable experiences of one’s life. Tender care aims at making this experience cherish-able and comfortable.

Insight
The identity takes inspiration from a tulip, since flowers symbolise softness and innocence. The flower is symbolic of a nurturing hand with the yellow dot being a symbol for life. Derived from the identity, a visual language was created with compositions consisting of different shapes to show a story of care and reliability across various touchpoints.

Problem Solving
Prescriptions aren't the easiest thing to read. In India prescriptions are usually a blank piece of paper with no particular way of writing which makes it harder for patients to interpret.
I helped Tender Care design a prescription format which not only makes it easier to understand for the patient, but also much better for the doctor to write. Even a simple ease in reading and writing can make the experience of a patient more comforting at a hospital.
